Veterans Day is a special occasion to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. It's a time to express our gratitude for their sacrifices and dedication to protecting our freedoms. One way to honor veterans and first responders is through community events like the Heroes Breakfast held at the school this morning, put on and sponsored by Discovery's Pride Pack. These gatherings provide an opportunity for students to connect with heroes, learn about their experiences, and express their appreciation. By sharing stories and building relationships, these events foster a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by those who serve.
