Today, we had another mentor luncheon at our school. During these events, we invite inspiring members of our community to come and visit with our students about their interests and what opportunities are out there. We provided Panda Express and students were encouraged to sit at whatever table had an organization that interested them, rotating to a new table periodically. This opened up great conversations and potential future avenues, as well as building networks and friendships.
Attending were mentors from The US Army, Vermeer, All State Insurance, Juvenile Detention Officer, Southwest Airlines, IMA Financial - Construction, oil & gas insurance and small business insurance, Shook Insurance, Textron, US Air Force, WSU Tech, Spirit, and the mayor of Goddard!
