On April 15th, the Goddard Virtual School Class of 2025 gained its fifth member, Miss Terrianna Collier. Spending 2.5 years as a GVS student, Terrianna gained both personal and academic growth. In addition, she took advantage of the opportunity complete her graduation requirements early.
According to Collier the best parts of virtual schooling included the ability to complete things at her pace and the teachers. The most impactful high school course Terrianna completed was Character Development because the activities forced her to look within herself. As a result, she learned real life lessons and became a better and stronger individual.
Collier’s career goal is to own her own hair and photography salon. In order to achieve this life-long dream, she plans to enroll in either Eric Fisher Academy or Crave Beauty Academy. Knowing it will take financial stability to own her own salon, Collier plans to work and save money as she searches for the perfect salon location and building.
Per Collier, “I would like to thank both of my teachers, Mrs. Huntley and Mrs. Sharp, and especially my nana, Angee Collier, for their guidance in helping me become the person I am. Now I plan on taking things further by going to cosmetology school to own my own hair and photography salon.”
Congratulations, Terrianna and best wishes as you begin the next chapter of your life.
