This morning, school and district leadership gathered together to celebrate the USD 265 Transportation team and applaud their efforts this first week of school. The bus drivers returned from their morning routes to applause, gratitude and some sweet treats. The start of the school year for our growing school district can bring challenges, but nothing our community can't overcome. As our drivers and paras welcome their students and adjust to their routes and neighborhoods, it's uplifting to see our entire #265Family pull together to continue to create a safe, caring, and connected environment for our students and staff.

It's that time of year again, and we need your help! The second edition of the Goddard Education Foundation's annual publication, ROAR on 54, will be hitting mailboxes soon. ROAR on 54 is a 24-page, full-color magazine that features stories and images from throughout Goddard Public Schools. This annual publication highlights the achievements of students, the contributions of staff, and the innovative programs supported by the Goddard Education Foundation (GEF) - celebrating the past, while looking towards the future.
ROAR on 54 is mailed to EVERY household and business inside the USD 265 school district boundaries, as well as EVERYONE who has signed up to receive it in the past. However, we need your help to get this into the hands of grandparents, alumni, retired educators, businesses, and other supporters that may live outside of the district boundaries and may not have signed up in the past. As we kick off another exciting year, we want to recognize the incredible efforts and enthusiasm shown during our District Orientation Events. Your commitment to excellence and passion for teaching make our #265Family stronger and more vibrant. Here's to a fantastic year filled with learning, growth, and success!

With your support, over 250 Goddard Public Schools students were provided with school supplies, we were able to give new teachers to the district a wonderful welcome from our community, and they were provided a wonderful breakfast, swag, and raffle prizes to all 1,200 staff members of Goddard Public Schools! Thank you for stepping up to serve the #265Family!

We want to thank the 200+ parents, educators, and community leaders who engaged in the 2024 Community Education Retreat! We are proud of our #265Family coming together to further the mission of educating ALL students for lifelong success! The event included an overview of planning and priorities for the next school year, a discussion of the District's Strategic Plan goals and beliefs, a legislative candidate forum, an evaluation of future enrollment projections, and facility planning for the future. Huge thanks to the staff that prepared for the event, especially the USD 265 Nutrition Services team and the building crew at Eisenhower Middle School!
